Assistant Manager

We are looking for an experienced supervisor or assistant manager to join our team and help grow our new business!

Well, here at The Maple, we can do just that! We are looking for an assistant manager to join the family.

The Maple sits on the edge of the Mendips surrounded by beautiful Somerset countryside. Inside, the cosy bar and dining area is the perfect spot for brunch, lunch, or relaxed dinners. We pride ourselves on our ingredients being traditional with our own modern interpretations. Choose something delicious from our menu with a focus on local produce and traditional pub classics, or the changing daily specials menus.

You will need to be:

• Friendly! OK, it sounds obvious but you will be naturally welcoming and make our customers experience something to raise their spirits!
• Organized. It can be busy on shift and we want someone with great attention to detail.
• Passionate. About the food we serve, the drinks we pour and everything you do will be from the heart.
• Willing to learn. We are constantly improving our service, food and drinks and want you to be ready to learn and make us the talk of the town.
• A leader. You will be able to rally the troops, help train and develop our team and lead from the front!

The Finer Details:

Hours: Full-time (45 hours per week)
Holiday: 5.6 weeks pro-rata
Annual Salary: £30k + tips
